The Children’s Ministries volunteer staff serve to supplement the family in their attempt to lay down a spiritual foundation that, in God’s timing, will lead a child into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and further assist them in discipleship as they learn to walk as Jesus walked.
Our vision, in Children’s Ministries, is to be a Biblical functioning community of believers that teach and model for children how to become Christ-followers, rather than world followers.
We provide a beautiful nursery area with volunteers ready to give TLC to our little ones (infant to 2 year old) on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. A pager system is in place for a quick way to contact parents.
Sunday School starts at 9:15 for all ages! As of August 2011 the entire church will be participating in a Whole-Church-Experience of “Read the Bible in 90 Days.” We look forward to working with all ages as they learn about the meta-narrative of the Bible!
Children’s Church (3′s-Kindergarten) is offered during our worship service. This is an age appropriate worship experience with songs and stories for our energy filled little ones. Children’s Church runs from 11:00 am until the close of the worship service.
On Wednesday evenings from September-May students jump into MarketPlace from 6:30-7:30 pm! Grades 1-5 meet in the Tree-House room for a community activity and then break up into center groups: Art, Games, Video or Drama. Our littlest friends are working on an age appropriate curriculum as they explore how much God loves them!
