God is at work in Children's lives and here at Mac Free we see Children not just as little people who need to be taught about Jesus, but as contributing members of the body of Christ. We journey with children to discover who God has made them to be and invest in them as people God can use right now to make a difference for Christ in the world. We want children to experience God personally, not just learn about Him. We want them to encounter God in a way that incites wonder and worship. Our programs are engaging so church is a place where children will want to be and where they will want to bring their friends. We are a resource to families and are committed to partnering with them to disciple a generation of children who know, love, and serve Christ.
- FREEDOM TO KNOW AND TRUST GOD
- FREEDOM TO BE WHO GOD CREATED THEM TO BE
- FREEDOM TO LOVE OTHERS BOLDLY
- FREEDOM TO SERVE JESUS WITHOUT HOLDING BACK
Sunday school classes provide in depth Biblical instruction and opportunity for building relationships with teachers who are dedicated to helping each child grow spiritually. Sunday school experiences are available for all children and adults.
We use godly Play curriculum for our Children's worship program. Godly Play is an imaginative approach to christian Education that helps children explore their faith through story, become familiar with religious language and practices of the church and leads them to worship through wonder and play. Children age 3 through 2nd grade participate in Godly Play during the Sunday morning worship service.
AWANA reaches kids for Christ through fun Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love, and serve Christ. AWANA comes alongside parents to encourage spiritual development in their children and help them come to know Jesus Christ as Savior. From games, to teaching time, to small groups, AWANA balances fun and learning to create an environment of spiritual growth. Our club is open to children age 2 through 5th grade.
The Nest is our nursery area for infants and toddlers (0-24 months). We welcome parents to use our nursery or keep their children with them as they attend worship. Parents can check their children into the Nest during each of our services. We provide a safe and nurturing environment with a staff that loves to work with young children. Parents are provided with a pager so we can notify you if your child needs to connect with you during the service. Nursing mothers can find a private room off of our nursery if needed. Our nursery staff seeks to encourage families and provide quality care that helps families build a solid faith foundation for their children.
We love to see little personalities emerge as children play and worship in our First Flight class! Children are provided with plenty of free play in a safe and closely supervised area. We teach our 2's and early 3's simple songs and Bible stories through hands on and exploratory lessons and provide them with snacks and potty breaks that match their growing independence. On Wednesday nights, our Puggles program teaches Children about How God made us and loves us nurturing a deep respect for God. Parents will need to sign their children in and out of this class and pagers are available so we can contact you should your child need assistance.
We want each preschooler to understand that God Made them, God Loves Them, and Jesus wants to change their life forever! We teach primarily through story and hands on activities that provide an understanding of the Bible and teach respect for God. The stories we share, the materials in the classroom, and the routines during our classes are all designed to help your child authentically respond to God in a way that deepens and strengthens their understanding of God and sets them on a path of discovery where they explore God's greatness through wonder and imagination. On Wednesday nights, preschool children participate in AWANA Cubbies where they memorize scripture, play and learn in a fun environment.
During the elementary years, we want to build up kids who know and trust God and who are courageous for Christ. In today's world children need to be equipped to make wise choices and they need to personalize their faith though service that comes from a deep love for others. Our mission is to partner with parents and connect each child to a community where they will find friends and mentors
