WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT
As you enter the church, one of our greeters will meet you at the door. They will be happy to give you directions or answer any questions you may have. Help yourself to a cup of coffee at our coffee bar in the main lobby. As you enter the sanctuary, one of our ushers will provide you with a worship bulletin. Take a seat wherever you feel most comfortable. If you are visiting during the Sunday school hour, our greeters will help you and your children find a class.
Our worship is a balance of contemporary and traditional styles and you will experience excellent teaching from God's word that will challenge you in your faith journey.
If you have children age three or younger, you may check them into the nursery or two and three year old room at any time before or during the worship service. The nursery (0-24 months) is located right off the main lobby. The two and early three year old room is down the education wing, and one of our greeters would be happy to show you the way. If your child has just turned three, they may be most comfortable with the two's and early three's.
Preschool children (two years before Kindergarten) - second grade are dismissed to Children's worship during the greeting time. They can join you in the sanctuary and then they will be dismissed by the worship leader. We will need a bit of information from you in order to best meet your child's needs, so be sure to fill out a registration card which you can pick up next to the children's bulletins and give to one of our Children's staff members when children are dismissed from service. The children gather in the lobby and then proceed to their worship space. You may pick children up from that space (room 226), following the service.
Older children remain in the service. We do provide children's bulletins with word games and Scripture activities to help them follow along with the sermon and learn on their own. These bulletins can be picked up at the Children's ministry table in the lobby.
